What towing limits apply to agricultural trailers and implements?
Short answer
A prime mover or rigid truck may tow one trailer or implement; an agricultural vehicle or machine may tow up to two, subject to every other notice condition.

Plain English
The hauling unit determines the towing allowance. Agricultural use alone does not change a truck into an agricultural vehicle.
What this means operationally
List the hauling unit first, then each towed item; stop if the configuration does not fit the notice exactly.
Who it applies to
Operators towing agricultural trailers or implements.
Example
A rigid truck towing a trailer and second implement cannot rely on the notice merely because both are farm equipment.
Exceptions and traps
Length, mass, braking, couplings, visibility, warnings, routes and state conditions still apply.
What changed
New notice commenced 14 August 2026.
